Connecting the Body: The Importance of Fascia and Functional Training
Hello guys, I hope everyone’s doing well today. So I guess this will be my first talking video, and I would like to start it off with the old cliché. Are you in pain? Are you injury-prone? Well, I’m here to tell you, not if you are. You might want to consider changing up your training. Train to connect your body so it functions as one system.
So this fascia of ours, this kind of connective tissue which encompasses all organs, this is what we want to consider because fascia offers tensegrity — tensile integrity. So what do we do about that? We have to connect our body. And that is standing upright, walking, running through it. This is what we evolved to do — movement equals life.
